Regional bundles
Pick the part of the world your users are in.
Twelve Points of NameServer, grouped into four regions. A bundle decides which locations answer first — the zone itself always sits on all four nameservers, so no region can take a domain offline.

A bundle decides where the answer comes from first — every zone is always held on all four nameservers, so no region can take a domain offline.
How a change reaches the world
A record is written on the primary. The primary raises the serial and sends a NOTIFY to every secondary; each of them fetches the zone by AXFR straight away. Nothing waits for a refresh timer, so a correction is live within seconds rather than at the end of an interval.
change in Frankfurt → serial + 1 → NOTIFY → Amsterdam / London / Los Angeles

AXFR, zone currentWhy we verify at a secondary
The primary accepting a change proves nothing about what the world sees. A change counts as live here only once a secondary answers it — that is the check we run, and the one we recommend you run too.
Delegation
All four nameservers are listed for a delegated domain, so any single one can answer a query on its own. We switch the delegation at the registrar only after the zone is complete and correct here.
Availability
The nameservers are monitored from outside our own network by UptimeRobot.org, so an outage is not something we discover from our own logs.
